At an eChai event recently...

At the end of the event, got an opportunity to chat with youngsters much younger than myself.

Apart from a few other things, we talked about books.

A 1st year BBA student asked me to recommend a good management book. My recommendation was instant: Dr. Atul Gawande's The Checklist Manifesto.

Another student asked me to recommend a great text on economics. And yet again, my recommendation was instant: David Graeber's Debt: The First 5000 Years.

One's a thin book, another's a tome. Both amazing, and can shape minds for clarity and sharpness in action.
